If you are unable to withdraw your cryptocurrency balances from Kraken, there may be several reasons for this. You may see a “Balance is insufficient for a withdrawal ” error, or the withdrawal page may say that your funds are “Withheld” or that withdrawals are blocked.

Enter the amount you wish to transfer. Make sure it meets our minimums. Click the Transfer button and then the Submit button . Note: if you have 2FA for deposits and withdrawals enabled, you will have to enter your 2FA code to transfer funds to your Futures Wallet.

Certain deposits, such as first time ACH instant purchases, debit or credit card purchases or digital wallet purchases, may trigger a withdrawal hold for up to 72 hours .

To protect your account and to ensure the integrity of our trading system, we may place a hold on funds leaving the platform – particularly if you purchases crypto using a card or if we detect abnormal activity or security concerns with your account.
