Wired and wireless network difference

There are four main types of wired media in use:

In a wired communication system there exists a physical media between the transmitter and the receiver using which the signal is transferred. In wireless communication systems, there do not exist any physical media between the transmitter and the receiver.

A wired network employs wires to link devices to the Internet or another network, such as laptops or desktop PCs . (b) Wireless Network: “Wireless” means without wire, media that is made up of electromagnetic waves (EM Waves) or infrared waves. Antennas or sensors will be present on all wireless devices.24 Haz 2021

Examples of wireless networks include cell phone networks, wireless local area networks (WLANs), wireless sensor networks, satellite communication networks, and terrestrial microwave networks .
