Will there be a Tron: Legacy Part 2?

Overall, “Tron: Legacy” is worth to watch . 3D works pretty fine in watching this film. Young kids would not really like this but maybe aged 8 and above would do. I believe this is the best film for December 2010 and is a good way to end blockbuster movies of 2010.

The sequel was still in development and had been given a new title — “Tron: Ascension.” But that wasn’t all. Director Joseph Kosinski was confirmed to be returning for “Ascension” with production due to begin in October 2015, filming until February 2016.

From a reported budget of $170 million, the film grossed around $400 million worldwide, and reviews were decidedly mixed. There simply wasn’t enough audience enthusiasm to warrant further investment in this project .

And yet, it’s almost 10 years later and a Tron: Legacy follow-up has failed to materialise . Sure, there have been rumblings recently around a mooted third instalment, but to date, the franchise remains trapped in development hell.
