On average, a 6 GHz signal attenuates about 2 dB more than a 5 GHz signal in the first meter. Of course, the 6 GHz band is big, so it does depend on what channel is being used.

Wi-Fi 6, based on the IEEE 802.11ax standard, will deliver 4x higher capacity and 75 percent lower latency, offering nearly triple the speed of its predecessor, Wi-Fi 5 .
