Who owns Exodus wallet

From my perspective Exodus is as secure as the user holding the account . If you are careful on what you do with your computer/cellphone device, I feel exodus is very safe.

Even if Exodus as a company were to shut down, you’d still be able to open your Exodus wallet since it runs locally on your device . However, the wallet wouldn’t have full functionality – the in-built exchange feature would cease to work, and you might not be able to send certain assets with our servers down.

Exodus is only as secure as the device it is installed on and your security practices ! So, please don’t skip on these protection measures. They’re the only thing standing between the hackers and your money.

Exodus offers a relatively secure cryptocurrency wallet for regular use . However, an online wallet is never as safe as the digital currency stored in cold storage like a paper wallet.

As far as I have read from other reddit threads + explanations on Exodus’ website. I understood that staking is done in a non-custodial way. Which means it’s as safe as holding your crypto in your wallet, without staking it .
