Which countries are using 5G now?

South Korea, China, and the United States are the countries that lead the world in building and deploying 5G technology.

Globally, the number of 5G users worldwide is foreseen to explode from less than 200 million in 2019 to 1,02 Billion in 2023 (Fortune Feb. 2020). Ericsson announced that there were 660m 5G subscribers at the end of 2021.

South Korea : South Korea, one of the first 5G users in 2018, continues to establish standards for high-speed and low-latency connectivity. In terms of consumers, 5G connections surpassed 9 million in September 2020, and the country is expected to have more than 40 million 5G users by 2025.
