Which company first tested 5G in India?

The test of the 5G network has started in India; Trust Jio and Bharti Airtel have started testing their 5G networks in Mumbai and Gurgaon respectively; Other companies like VodafoneIdea and the state-owned MTNL are expected to start testing the next generation network very soon.

Three giant private telecom service providers in India—Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio Infocomm, and Vodafone Idea , have been working with telecom equipment makers such as Ericsson and Nokia and conducting trials at test sites in these cities.

Bharti Airtel has announced that it successfully conducted its first 5G trial in India, in partnership with Nokia. The telecom operator revealed that it conducted 5G trial after it was allotted a test spectrum in multiple bands by the government for the validation of 5G technology and use cases.
