What type of token is Chainlink?

Chainlink uses hybrid smart contracts to integrate on-chain code and off-chain data infrastructure. Chainlink tokens—called LINK—are used to pay Chainlink network operators for retrieving and preparing off-chain data and performing computations .7 Şub 2022

The Chainlink (LINK) token. LINK is an ERC-20 token with the additional ERC223 “transfer and call” functionality. It allows the tokens to be processed and received by smart contracts within a single transaction.

The LINK token is an ERC677 token that inherits functionality from the ERC20 token standard and allows token transfers to contain a data payload. It is used to pay node operators for retrieving data for smart contracts and also for deposits placed by node operators as required by contract creators .
