What network is Matic on MetaMask?

Polygon, formerly known as Matic Network, is a blockchain scalability platform and framework for connecting and building blockchain networks compatible with Ethereum .9 Ara 2021

As you can see, the default network on MetaMask is set to the Ethereum Mainnet (top right). Let’s now add Polygon to the list.
