What is ITU region1?

Aug 13, 2019. IEEE Radar W BandThe W-band as defined by IEEE is a frequency range from 75 to 110 GHz . IEEE uses letters to signify a range of frequencies from 1 to 170 GHz. The W band overlaps with the NATO designated M band (60 to 100 GHz).

Radio frequency (RF) is the oscillation rate of an alternating electric current or voltage or of a magnetic, electric or electromagnetic field or mechanical system in the frequency range from around 20 kHz to around 300 GHz .

Region 1 comprises Europe, Africa, the former Soviet Union, Mongolia, and the Middle East west of the Persian Gulf, including Iraq . The western boundary is defined by Line B.
