What API does TradingView use?

QUANDL is huge database that stores a lot of statistical and economical data from all over the world. TradingView gives you access to this data and allows you to operate it the way you want.

¶ TradingView_TA is an unofficial Python API wrapper to retrieve technical analysis from TradingView.

Our paid plans don’t give you access to official real-time data from the exchanges unless this data is free by default (e.g. FX or Cryptocurrencies). Most of the stock exchanges that we support charge fees for the real-time data and we are unable to cover those costs even if you have a paid plan.

To download the data choose Export Chart Data … from the menu: Select the chart & hit Export: Exporting becomes available as soon as chart data is loaded. Scroll left to add more data to the chart, or drag the x-axis, then download.

TradingView Desktop allows you to set up and restore your multi-monitor workspace without any of the limitations browsers traditionally face.

Can I do automatic trading with any strategy (private or public) in TradingView? Yes, you can automate any strategy from public library by editing its pinescript code .
