Types of polymorphism in Java

There are two types of polymorphism in C++, compile-time and run-time polymorphism. Function overloading and operator overloading are used to achieve compile-time polymorphism. Function overriding is used to achieve run-time polymorphism.

Polymorphism is the ability to process objects differently on the basis of their class and data types . There are two types of polymorphism in Java: compile time polymorphism and run time polymorphism in java.
