Based on some of their free courses, the content is good but doesn’t seem to go too deep . I’m not against paying for resources but it should be worth the money.

Yes it is a good start . You will eventually need to learn a lot of other things as well, but practically everything you learn in the Swift Playgrounds is something you’ll need to learn.

One of the biggest advantages of getting started with iOS development is the ease of learning Swift . It reduces the learning curve, so you can actually focus on the idea or technology you’re working on. You’re more likely to become a better programmer learning iOS than taking Computer science in college.
