Indicates whether or not uplink duplication status at the time of receiving this IE is configured and activated as specified in TS 38.323 [5]. The presence of this field indicates that duplication is configured. PDCP duplication is not configured for CA packet duplication of LTE RLC bearer.

PDCP Header Compression : PDCP removes IP header (Minimum 20 bytes) from PDU, and adds Token of 1-4 bytes . Which provides a tremendous savings in the amount of header that would otherwise have to go over the air. RLC layer does segmentation of these SDUS to make the RLC PDUs.

Encryption/Ciphering: It refers to the process of encryption/ciphering by a sender and deciphering or decryption by a receiver . The sender ciphers the message using its key and a certain algorithm and sends it to the receiver, who then decrypts it using the same key and algorithm.
