From the Home screen, swipe up, then tap Settings. Tap Wi-Fi & network > SIM & network > Preferred network type. Select from the following: 5G on (Automatic 5G/LTE/3G/2G)

Choose Wi-Fi & internet. Choose Preferred network type. Choose 2G/3G/LTE/5G (Automatic) . The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G has now been configured for use of 5G networks.
