NumPy data types

An object is a string in pandas so it performs a string operation instead of a mathematical one . If we want to see what all the data types are in a dataframe, use df.dtypes. df.26 Mar 2018

This data type contains a reference (or an address) to an actual object . This data type uses 4 bytes. The default value is Nothing. Just as the Variant data type can store any type of variable, the Object data type can store any kind of object.

Object Data Type: These are also referred to as Non-primitive or Reference Data Type. They are so-called because they refer to any particular objects. Unlike the primitive data types, the non-primitive ones are created by the users in Java. Examples include arrays, strings, classes, interfaces etc.
