PancakeSwap is a decentralized exchange built on Binance Smart Chain, a fast and inexpensive alternative to Ethereum . Much like the celebrated Uniswap DeFi AMM protocol running on Ethereum, PancakeSwap enables users to swap between cryptocurrency assets by tapping into user-generated liquidity pools.

Go to CoinMarketCap and search for PancakeSwap. Tap on the button labeled “Market” near the price chart . In this view, you will see a complete list of places you can purchase PancakeSwap as well as the currencies you can use to obtain it.

Providing liquidity gives you a reward in the form of trading fees when people use your liquidity pool. Whenever someone trades on PancakeSwap, the trader pays a 0.25% fee, of which 0.17% is added to the Liquidity Pool of the swap pair they traded on .

Providing liquidity on PancakeSwap is simple: Connect wallet. Once your wallet is connected, navigate to the “Liquidity” section in the “Trade” menu and select a token pair you wish to provide (for example, BNB and BUSD).

Click on the dropdown option at the top-right-end corner and click on “Smart Chain” to switch to the Binance Smart Chain. Go to the PancakeSwap website, make sure you refreshed the page and click on “Connect” at the top-right-end corner. Select “MetaMask” and a pop-up will show. The BSC should be already selected.
