LTE Release date

On November 6, 2020, China successfully launched an experimental test satellite with candidates for 6G technology into orbit, along with 12 other satellites, using a Long March 6 launch vehicle rocket.

6G internet is expected to launch commercially in 2030 . The technology makes greater use of the distributed radio access network (RAN) and the terahertz (THz) spectrum to increase capacity, lower latency and improve spectrum sharing.

The Minister of Communication says that India could expect 6G connectivity standards by the end of 2023 , while 5G launch is expected by the end of 2022. India is on a pathway to deploy 6G connectivity standards by the end of 2023 or 2024.
