JavaScript subclass

In simple words, we can define polymorphism as the ability of a message to be displayed in more than one form . A real-life example of polymorphism, a person at the same time can have different characteristics. Like a man at the same time is a father, a husband, an employee.

As an example, Java and JavaScript are both object-oriented programming languages and they don’t handle polymorphism in the same manner . Although polymorphism is a core feature for object-oriented programming languages, some data-oriented languages achieve polymorphism with Entity Component System (ECS) pattern.7 May 2021

Polymorphism is the ability to define a generic type of behaviour that will behave differently when applied to different types . Let’s say we have an Animal class that implements the talk method. If class Dog and Cat inherit talk() from class Animal, object dog and object cat both will talk but in a different form.22 Mar 2016

JavaScript is object-oriented , but is not a class-based object-oriented language like Java, C++, C#, etc. Class-based OOP languages are a subset of the larger family of OOP languages which also include prototype-based languages like JavaScript and Self.
