JavaScript inheritance

In simple words, we can define polymorphism as the ability of a message to be displayed in more than one form . A real-life example of polymorphism, a person at the same time can have different characteristics. Like a man at the same time is a father, a husband, an employee.

As an example, Java and JavaScript are both object-oriented programming languages and they don’t handle polymorphism in the same manner . Although polymorphism is a core feature for object-oriented programming languages, some data-oriented languages achieve polymorphism with Entity Component System (ECS) pattern.7 May 2021

Polymorphism is the ability to define a generic type of behaviour that will behave differently when applied to different types . Let’s say we have an Animal class that implements the talk method. JavaScript is object-oriented , but is not a class-based object-oriented language like Java, C++, C#, etc. Class-based OOP languages are a subset of the larger family of OOP languages which also include prototype-based languages like JavaScript and Self.
