Celcom VoLTE connects calls almost instantly, or twice as fast as 2G and 3G connections (approximately 1.5 seconds versus 3.5-5 seconds) thanks to its lower latency. No more hanging on the lines waiting for your call to connect, but this only applies in an area with full 4G coverage.

The lower frequencies, down near the 700MHz band , give better signal penetration, offering stronger coverage in buildings, carparks, elevators and the like. The higher frequencies up toward the 2,600MHz band have a higher capacity for data.

3.1. 1.3 Globally, the 700 MHz band is one of the key sub 1 GHz band for LTE coverage. In Malaysia, this band is being planned for the provision of mobile broadband service after ASO.
