Is T-Mobile in the US?

Following the merger with its competitor Sprint on April 1, 2020, TMUS is the second largest mobile communications provider in the U.S. market (in terms of customers) and serves almost 100 million customers. T- Mobile US currently operates the only nationwide 5th generation (5G) cellular network in the US .

In a stunning move, AT&T has acquired T-Mobile USA for a whopping $39 billion from Deutsche Telekom. Along with acquiring approximately 8% of AT&T, Deutsche Telekom will also be gaining a seat on AT&T’s board of directors.

While Verizon wins in terms of overall coverage, T-Mobile takes the top spot for overall speed . It is an industry leader for 5G coverage in the U.S. It also is implementing Ultra Capacity 5G, which provides speeds as fast as Wi-Fi to the places within its reach.
