Is Samsung Doing away with Android?

Though Samsung has dabbled with other mobile operating systems, all Samsung Galaxy smartphones use the Android operating system . Simply put: Android is the operating system, Samsung is the manufacturer.

According to a recent report, Samsung may be preparing itself for a future where its smartphones will no longer run Android OS. Instead, it will run a new operating system that’s been in development in Google’s laboratories for a few years.
