Is RX 580 4GB good?

Radeon RX 580 was announced in April 2017 along with RX 570. There are 2 versions of RX 580: with 4GB and 8GB on-board memory. And yet both graphics cards give out the same hash rates on most algorithms. Overall, the device is mostly used to mine Ethereum and Ethereum Classic .

The RX580 is still a decent card for 1080p gaming in 2020 , and it should stay that way for at least a year more. You may not get high framerates all the time, but it can still power through modern titles with ease. Yes, it is still good mid range graphics card since Nvidia screwed the launch.

A single Radeon RX 570 8GB offers a mining performance in the range of 28 MH/s before optimization . The Radeon RX 570 Duo, on the other hand, reportedly hits a hash rate of 59.72 MH/s.

Yes they are future proof but those are budget graphic card and they are not powerful enough to utilise so much VRAM in most of games out there. Rx 580 4GB would go for more 3 years so Rx 580 8GB obviously would be more Future-Proof.
