A full stack developer is an engineer who can handle all the work of databases, servers, systems engineering, and clients . Depending on the project, what customers need may be a mobile stack, a Web stack, or a native application stack.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has already reported that Full Stack Development jobs will increase from 135,000 to over 853,000 by 2024 . Besides being available in large numbers, full-stack development jobs are also high salaried jobs. In fact, these are one of the highest paying jobs worldwide.

The developer needs to be intimately familiar with a few options at each level to qualify as “full stack” . They also have to be able to build native, hybrid, and mobile web apps. The knowledge base doesn’t stop there, either.

Full stack development for both mobile and desktop applications involves understanding all the technologies, programming languages, and frameworks used in the creation of a web application, software product or mobile app.
