Yes it is a good start . You will eventually need to learn a lot of other things as well, but practically everything you learn in the Swift Playgrounds is something you’ll need to learn.

Based on some of their free courses, the content is good but doesn’t seem to go too deep . I’m not against paying for resources but it should be worth the money.
