Is 6G network available in India?

News. The sixth-generation is an advanced version of 5G technology. 6G network will be 50 times faster than its predecessor 5G. India is planning to launch 6G technology by 2023-end or early 2024 .15 Mar 2022

6G internet is expected to launch commercially in 2030 . The technology makes greater use of the distributed radio access network (RAN) and the terahertz (THz) spectrum to increase capacity, lower latency and improve spectrum sharing.

Recently, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has said that the major cities in India— Gurugram, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jamnagar, Ahmadabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Pune, and Gandhi Nagar would be among the first cities to enjoy 5G services in 2022 .
