Is 15 ms latency good for gaming?

As stated recently, any ping values ≤ 20 ms are considered low ping or even exceptional ping. That means the 18ms is too good for not only gaming but almost any other online activity .

Latency is measured in milliseconds, and indicates the quality of your connection within your network. Anything at 100ms or less is considered acceptable for gaming . However, 20-40ms is optimal.

Ping amounts of 100 ms and below are average for most broadband connections. In gaming, any amounts below a ping of 20 ms are considered exceptional and “low ping,” amounts between 50 ms and 100 ms range from very good to average, while a ping of 150 ms or more is less desirable and deemed “high ping.” 29 Oca 2020

That said, anything under 100ms is reasonable . If you want to play games, especially first person shooters or driving games, then you should aim for a latency of less than 50ms and preferably less than 30ms.
