Install IntelliJ Cucumber for Java Plugin (Mac)

Choose your IDE

Go to Preferences -> Build,Execution,Deployment -> Build Tools -> Maven Uncheck the Work Offline option .

Configure proxy settings directly from IntelliJ IDEA. Do the following: Open the Version Control | Subversion | Network page of the IDE settings Ctrl+Alt+S . Click the Edit Network Options button and specify the proxy settings in the Edit Subversion Options Related to Network Layers dialog that opens.

To install Scala plugin, press Ctrl+Alt+S , open the Plugins page, browse repositories to locate the Scala plugin, click Install and restart IntelliJ IDEA .

If you installed IntelliJ IDEA via the Toolbox App, the plugins directory will be located in the installation directory . To find the installation directory, open the settings of the IDE instance in the Toolbox App, expand Configuration and look for the Install location field.
