How to activate 5G on Pixel 5

Turn off 5G on a Google Pixel First, open the Settings menu by swiping down from the top of the screen twice. From there, tap the gear icon. Next, select “Network & Internet” from the Settings menu. Choose “Mobile Network” (not the “+” button).

5G Icon. A 5G icon in your status bar shows when your phone is within an area where 5G service is available . The icon will show for all 5G bands and networks.

Open the Settings app, tap ‘Network & internet,’ tap ‘SIMs,’ scroll down, tap ‘Preferred network type,’ and choose ‘LTE. ‘ Just like that, the Pixel 6 will hop off of its 5G network and switch to a 4G LTE one.
