How is 5G different from other generations?

The main advantages of the 5G are a greater speed in the transmissions, a lower latency and therefore greater capacity of remote execution, a greater number of connected devices and the possibility of implementing virtual networks (network slicing), providing more adjusted connectivity to concrete needs.

In contrast, the 5GHz band provides less coverage but transmits data at faster speeds . So 5GHz provides faster data rates at a shorter distance, while 2.4GHz offers coverage over farther distances, but may perform at slower speeds.

5G is the fifth generation of mobile networks, following on from previous generations; 2G, 3G and 4G. 5G is set to offer much faster connection speeds than previous networks . Also, being more reliable with lower response times and greater capacity.
