How do I check my phone software?

To check what version of Android you have:

The baseband version represents the version of the firmware installed on the device which is needed to establish communication between the mobile network and the integrated cellular radio hardware .

Tap Settings > About phone > Software information . View the Baseband version and compare it to the section below.
