What’s the point of Google Fuchsia OS? One popular school of thought is that Fuchsia is a new OS that could unify Chrome OS and Android into a single operating system (something that’s been heavily speculated since 2015).

Google is officially releasing its Fuchsia OS, starting w/ first-gen Nest Hub. Google’s long-in-development, from-scratch operating system, Fuchsia, is now running on real Made by Google devices , namely, the first-generation Nest Hub.

From what we know, the current Android apps will work with Fuchsia OS . It uses a card-based user interface and is loaded with Google’s Material design that we have seen on most Google products off late.
