Conclusion: If you’re building something cool and needs a fast, reliable database, user authentication and usage tracking, then Firebase is a great way to go . Not recommend for complex project. Large application, very few people use serverless, if you do not want later to pay expensive to sit back.

AL. Some Firebase features are indeed only available for iOS and Android . If you need those features on web, you’ll indeed have to look elsewhere. In that case I’d also recommend that you file a feature request.

Every time data is updated Firebase will stream out the changes to the data in realtime. So, the only thing to download in your Firebase is the data .
