Does 5G drain battery more?

Will depending on LTE only make a noticeable difference in battery life compared to turning on 5g ? Unfortunately, yes . Although my plan has 5G, with 4G I can comfortably reach 6-6:30 hours of screen on time. With 5g… that’s down to about 5-5:30 hours.

TLDR: 5G uses about 20% more battery per day and the extra speed isn’t really noticeable.
