Count Up darts rules

The goal is to go “around the clock” and hit each number once and in order . The first player to achieve this wins. Another popular way to keep score is to count the number of darts used to finish a game. This can be especially helpful when playing alone, as you can set the goal of beating your previous lowest score.

Each player starts with a score of 501 and takes turns to throw 3 darts. The score for each turn is calculated and deducted from the players total . Bullseye scores 50, the outer ring scores 25 and a dart in the double or treble ring counts double or treble the segment score.

If a player is left with 1 to get, usually after missing a double 1, the score is called ‘bust’, the turn ends and the score reverts to that at the start of the turn .
