Commercial 5G networks

The long-held market positions of the major telecom-equipment suppliers are shifting as the world’s communications carriers build out their 5G networks. China’s Huawei Technologies Co. continues to lead the $90 billion-a-year market for telecommunications equipment, as it has for the past several years.

The ZTE 5G provides high speed mobile broadband, ultra-low latency, high efficiency and wide compatibility. AT&T is one of the most reliable 5G service providers on the market. The service provides ultra fast connectivity, which is available in 20 states in the US.

Verizon’s 5G network buildout just got much more expensive. The operator signed a five-year $8.3 billion contract with Ericsson for a sweeping range of 5G radio access network (RAN) equipment and software. The deal positions Ericsson as Verizon’s top RAN supplier for the foreseeable future.
