By the end of 2021, IBM will spin off a sizable portion of its managed infrastructure services business to focus on cloud computing . Currently referred to as “NewCo,” the divested assets provided $19 billion of IBM’s $72.5 billion in revenue in FY20.

Although Azure Stack Hub is similar to Outposts, Azure also offers down-scaled versions in Azure Stack HCI and Azure Stack Edge.

Similarly, each provider offers a wide array of discount pricing based on service commitments, resource use, operating system, and more. According to RightScale Cloud Management, however, AWS outperforms Azure, Google, and IBM in a majority of use-cases.
