Are there 5G towers in Ottawa?

Bell and Telus launched 5G in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, the Greater Toronto Area, and Montreal but have since activated more towers in dozens of markets nationwide.

Bell and Telus are the first winners of the 5G Download Speed award in Canada, with our users observing average 5G download speeds of 166.2 Mbps and 165.6 Mbps on their networks, respectively.

The launch comes a week after Bell expanded the network to new cities in Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba. Bell has announced that its 5G network is now officially accessible to customers in Ottawa .

It’s one of five cities in Ontario and Quebec taking part in ENCQOR, a public-private partnership for 5G research and innovation. Funded by Invest Ottawa, Bayview Yards is home to a 5G testbed that helps businesses do pre-commercial testing of their products.
