5G operators in India

Yes :- In. 2017, Indian government has set up Rs. 500 crores fund for Research & Development of 5G Technology and thereby to roll out 5G by 2020, and it is also planning to auction 5G spectrum by January 2020. so Indian government is ready for this transition .

The Indian government has already announced that networks will be 5G enabled by 2020 . And by 2024, we will have a full range of 5G services.

The 5G network connectivity is expected to come to India in the next year on August 15, 2022 .

The main disadvantage of 5G is that it has limited global coverage and is available only in specific locations . Only cities can benefit a lot from 5G network and remote areas may not get the coverage it for some years. Moreover, the expenses for setting tower stations are high when compared to other networks.
