On March 25th, 2020, UGC published the University Grants Commission (Credit Framework for Online Learning Courses through Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) Regulations, 2021 . Under this new regulation, UGC increased the number of credits that can be earned online to 40%.
