Airtel has not yet announced its plans to roll out 5G in the country . The company believes the next generation of mobile technology will take longer to roll out across the country. According to Airtel CEO Gopal Vittal, the country’s 5G ecosystem is currently underdeveloped and this spectrum is expensive.
